About these files
Import-from-spreadsheet is one of the most requested features in business software and one of the easiest to get wrong. Dates, number formats, delimiters, encodings and sheer row counts all cause trouble.
The XLSX samples contain typed cells, dates and formulas. The CSV samples contain the same kind of customer data as plain text, and the curated library adds deliberately awkward CSV files: quoted fields, semicolon delimiters and a byte order mark.
